We want you to feel good about your purchase. If Said & Kept isn’t right for you, you can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no quibble — even if you’ve already started using the service or downloaded your keepsake.
How to request a refund
Email hello@saidandkept.com from the address linked to your account, with the subject line “Refund request”. Tell us briefly what wasn’t right — it helps us improve, but isn’t required for the refund.
What happens next
- We’ll reply within 2 working days to confirm.
- The refund is processed via Paddle, our payment partner, back to the card you paid with.
- It usually appears in your account within 5–10 working days, depending on your card provider.
- Your Said & Kept account and any messages collected will be deleted unless you ask us to keep them.
After 14 days
Once the 14-day window has passed, purchases are non-refundable. If something has gone wrong with the service itself, please still get in touch — we’ll always try to put it right.
About fairness
We may decline a refund where it’s clear the service has been used in full — for example, where a significant number of guest messages have already been collected and the keepsake has been downloaded before the refund request is made.
The 14-day no-quibble window is for couples who genuinely decide Said & Kept isn’t right for them, not for one-time keepsake collection. When processing each request we consider time since purchase, how many guest messages have been collected, and whether the keepsake has been downloaded. We try to be fair.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Under those Regulations, the 14-day cooling-off right for digital content can technically be lost once download or access begins and you expressly agree to that. We don’t ask you to give up that right — the 14-day window above applies whether or not you’ve already started using the service. That’s a deliberate choice to give you the most generous, no-stress option.
